With all of the craziness going on in the world right now, we at Finley Shirts are determined to help make 2020 great!
For the month of October, Finley Shirts will donate 20% of our online profits to Redeemed Women, a 501-3c Dallas based non-profit.  While serving as an urban missionary in 2017, Aelicia “Chocolate” Watson witnessed the challenges and unaddressed needs facing women within South Dallas’ Bonton community due to generational poverty. God called her to serve.  "Chocolate's" mission is to transforming women to lead independent lives by building relationships and addressing their spiritual, physical and vocational needs.
For the month of JUNE, Finley Shirts will donate 20% of our online profits to
The Family Place.  Organized in 1978, The Family Place is the largest family violence service provider in North Texas serving over 10,000 clients annually.  While many are staying home to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, for victims of family violence, staying home may not be the safest option. The Family Place continues to provide bi-lingual emergency shelter and client services, at all 3 campuses, while following all guidelines and protocol from the CDC.
From April 19th - May 3rd, we will donate to Watermark Urgent Care.  With it's two locations, Watermark Urgent Care services are offered to all that are uninsured and underinsured.  They do not require an ID, insurance or an appointment!  To cover the cost of services, they ask a small donation of only $10-$15.  This partnership between QuestCare Partners and Watermark Community Church has saved the residents of Dallas County in excess of $10.7 million per year since it's opening.  Finley Shirts is proud to have the opportunity to help provide basic health care for the less fortunate.
From April 5th - April 18th, we will donate to Cornerstone Community Kitchen.  Marty Washington, our fearless leader and partner, has been volunteering in South Dallas for years.  The kitchen feeds the homeless and marginalized and is part of a multi-faceted approach by offering job training and social enterprise opportunities.  Because of the COVID -19 virus, the kitchen has a shortage of food because they normally will get donations from grocery stores, food pantries and restaurants.  Let's join together to help those less fortunate.
From March 21-April 4th, we will donate to the Union Gospel Mission Center of Hope Homeless Shelter for Women & Children.  In 2019, Finley Shirts was honored to be involved in their Project Vintage Runway fashion show!  Finley Moll transformed 3 vintage items into one wearable work of art.  Finley's design was modeled on the runway by a woman from the shelter, who also received a fabulous makeover!  Unfortunately, the 2020 event is now cancelled due to COVID-19, so we would love to do what we can to help these women and children in need...
Stay tuned for our next non-profit recipient which starts on April 5th!
